The tannery in Kalisz was established in 1907 as the Leather Factory Sowadski and joint-stock company.

At present, it is difficult to find remnants from that period apart from photos hanging on the walls.

The only element that has remained unchanged in Kalisz Tannery is the method of vegetable tanning of cowhides improved over the years.

This method which is based on the use of the Quebracho and Mimoza tannins allows to find a very wide application of leathers produced in Kalisz.

Apart from our primary production, namely vegetable leathers, we also produce chrome-vegetable soft leathers and splits which enrich our offer.

The constant modernization of the machine park, the implementation of the latest technologies and the use of the raw material of Polish origin recognized as one of the best in the world are our additional advantages.
